The beginning

It all started in 1963 when Bruno and Gabriella, his young fisherman and her mother and housewife decided to take in management a charming little establishment right on the promontory which divides into two branches of the lake.


In 1978, Gilberto’s eldest son will complete his studies in the prestigious hotel school “Grand Bretagne” Bellagio. A few years later Andrea becomes fisherman and Massimo will graduate at the hotel school of Bellagio.

La Punta today

The wine list has over 300 labels of Italian and French wines. The chef Massimo, after years of experience gained in the best hotel facilities including St. Moritz runs a small brigade of experienced chefs
